Standard insulation on a container is insulation of doors and sides and roof. The bottom is generally not insulated. However, in some cases it may be necessary to insulate the bottom if the container e.g. should be placed in a very cold area e.g. on Greenland. We can offer insulation of the floor either outside or inside. Exterior insulation is made between the beams under the existing container floor. Foam can either be sprayed under the container or flamingo batts can be insulated under the container. The advantage is that the inside height of the container is not reduced and that the entrance edge of the container does not become higher. The disadvantage is that the insulation will be exposed and not protected by the container.

Internal insulation is made with 45 mm insulation covered with 18 mm plywood board. It is the same principle as on a standard insulation just with a slightly thicker plate. The advantage of internal insulation is that the insulation is protected. The disadvantage is that the entrance edge becomes higher and up to 25 cm high, and that the inside height is reduced to about 220 cm.
