Specialcontainer.dk has entered a collaboration agreement for the future sale of offshore DNV 2.7-1 approved containers and sling in Esbjerg with one of Esbjerg’s booming offshore service companies: Esbjerg Maritime Service (EMS) in Kjersing.
For some time offshore containers have been placed on Lillebæltsvej in Kjersing at Esbjerg Maritime Service (EMS) facilities, but up until now no arrangement for sales have been in place.
“Since 2012 I have used EMS for modification and repair of containers, I have been very pleased with the quality of their work on containers and documentation that I have seen here,” says Martin J. Skov, owner of Specialcontainer.dk., He continues: “There is a very good match between us. Where I’ve focused on offshore containers as a new product, EMS has many years of experience in repair work on containers. Therefore, now seemed as the right time to take a big step forward.”
It makes it easier for customers
In addition to expertise within modification of containers and repairs and maintenance of these, EMS offers production, repair, service, documentation, etc. within steel work in the offshore sector.
“Offshore containers complements our business in a great way, where we already offer modification and repair of these. It is helpful to have containers ready at our site. Now the customer can meet us, see our production and at the same time go through various containers. We only have positive experiences with Specialcontainer.dk’s products, and we are confident that this new cooperation will be to the benefit of everyone.” adds Kenneth Hagelskjær, director of EMS.
Already now, 5 types of containers are on site. More containers will be added regularly, and other items will be added like offshore lifting sling and corner castings which are ready for delivery here.
When buying a large offshore container, a small one will be delivered as well
Everybody should of course also benefit from this new development. Therefore, to highlight the benefits, everyone who purchases a container in 2014, will also get a 3d model of the container. The 3d model is not built until ordered, which means that it can be customized, including choice of color, and be used in marketing or just for display in the office.
